Southampton High Street Timeline

Cast iron, 2010

Working with acclaimed writer Philip Hoare and local historians Gary proposed a scheme which would integrate with the existing street ironworks. 42 iron pavement plaques were individually designed, cast and set into the old High Street, describing the rich history of Southampton. The commission was project managed by Liz Smith of Southampton City Council.
