Sea Shanties

Aberllefenni Slate, 2008

Consisting of three panels of rivened slate and named Timber, Rope and Sail. This piece was made to celebrate the beautiful language which describes the components of timber built sailing ships. They were first exhibited at the Jerwood Contemporary Makers exhibition in 2008.
